Sports Portraits – Tennis

Continuing with my sportraits project I recently shot Sienna for my tennis composition image, this one had the added difficulty of the tennis strings and cutting them out of the background which took a while to get right but I’m very happy with the results and Sienna was a great model who had a lot of  fun hitting imaginary tennis...

Nadine & Colin Pre-Wedding Shoot

On Friday I met up with Nadine and Colin whose wedding I am photographing in July at the lovely Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park.  As the river has a great deal of significance for this couple we met on a stretch of the Thames in Richmond to create some pictures.  It’s safe to say that it rained and rained and then rained some more so there was a lot of brolly action and trying to dry off in tunnels but it was a really fun shoot...

Atlantic Horns

The battle between the white and black swan

I had always had the idea that I wanted to create a photo that shows the feelings that go on inside a ballerina before going on stage.  The recent film ‘The Black Swan’ rekindled this idea and I have attempted my own version here.  A lovely dancer model agreed to do the shoot with me and we created the two looks on the day.  This was shot using a tripod taped to the floor to avoid any movements of the camera frame as...
